HELP WANTED The La Porte City FFA Historical & Ag Museum is seeking additional part time help.  Responsibilities will include hosting tours, misc. projects and office work.  The museum season runs from May through November with regular tour hours on Tuesday & Thursday from 10am-4 pm, and Saturday from 10am-2pm.  Applications are available at City Hall, 202 Main St. and must be returned by 5 pm. on Monday, 20 April, 2015.  EOE

HELP WANTED The City of La Porte City is seeking applicants for the position of Manager at the Family Aquatic Center.  The position is seasonal from approx. May 1 – Sept 30.  Responsibilities include daily operation of the pool facility, water testing, scheduling and training of staff, lesson scheduling, concessions, ticket sales and promotions.  Strong management and personnel skills required.  Must have CPO certification by 5/15/15.  Applications are available at City Hall, 202 Main Street or by clicking on the link above and will be accepted until Friday, March 20, 2015.  EOE.

HELP WANTED The City of La Porte City is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Manager at the Family Aquatic Center.  The position is seasonal from approx. May 1 – Sept 30.  Responsibilities include reporting to the Pool Manager, daily operation of the pool facility, water testing, coordinating and scheduling of swim lessons, and staff training.  Strong management and organizational skills required.  Must have CPO and lifeguard certifications by 5/15/15.  Applications are available at City Hall, 202 Main Street or by clicking on the link above and will be accepted until Friday, March 20, 2015.  EOE.

HELP WANTED The City of La Porte City is seeking applicants for the position of Lifeguards, Swim Instructors and Concession/Admission Attendants at the Family Aquatic Center.  The positions are seasonal from approx. May 1 – Sept 15.  Applicants should have strong communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a positive attitude.  Must have lifeguard and/or water safety instructor certifications by 5/18/15.  Applications are available at City Hall, 202 Main Street or by clicking on the link above and will be accepted until Friday, March 20, 2015.  EOE.
